Wow,it has been a very long time since I last update.

Anyway, I just came back from my grandma's house and did anyone of you watch the eclipse just now? I did I did!
Not exactly... because nobody in the house has the long binoculars thing so my grandma said you can see the reflection of the eclipse from a basin of water for which I'm very stupid enough to ask " Where do I put the basin then?".
The sun was shining brightly and I stared at it for a good 5 mins not until I heard my aunt's warning " Don't look at the sun.You can become blind!"

Sadly, it was too bright to be seen and I watched it on the news instead.

That aside.I've been really busy with school stuffs and I have school tests cramped in
one week wth. I've not been going out very often too, not even punggol plaza. I'm lazy.
I refused to go JB with my mum and excused myself by saying " I don't wanna go.It's too hot there." Hhaha what a lame excuse but I couldn't think of anything better.

As always, I'm going to update this blog fortnightly.

I really enjoyed myself today!

SY and me went to Safra Yishun Country Club for the volunteering meeting.Cabbed from Woodlands since we were 15 minutes late. Kelly briefed about everything that is going to happen tomorrow and we soon checked for the station we were allocated to.
I looked for my name: Nur Adilah ... Station: Dairy Farm ... Reporting time: 3.40AM
" WHAT?!! 3.40 AM?!!"
I was SPEECHLESS and was all alone,without SY.
I requested to Kelly that I want a change in the grouping.Kelly is a man btw.
I can't eventually report all alone at 3.40AM.
Secondly, I don't know ANY of the other volunteers.They get along pretty well since some are seasonal volunteers.No,actually most.And I'm just the first timer.Thirdly, I don't want my mother to scream at me.I know my mum too well.Going out in the early morning is simply just too absurd to her.

I managed to switch over to SY's grp.The exciting part was we got a race shirt with the word "official"!

And the rest of the day, we spend our time at the Singapore Youth Olympic Games 2010 logo launch carnival and we ... will continue tomorrow.

School was pretty alright and we started on proper lessons this week.Day 3 today and waking up early is so torturous for me.. I hit the sack @ 12.30am everyday and wake @ 6 in the morning.My schedule is packed, remedial and other school stuffs going on.I can only catch like 1.5 hrs of sleep after school or none at all.I thought I could make up the sleep I supposedly need during the weekends and I find out I only have Saturday(s) as my off-day.Ahh crappppp.
But still,I actually look forward going to school.

SY asked a man if he could help take a snapshot of us since none of us brought our camera along.She went like "Er Excuse me,can you help to take a picture of us with your camera? You can email me the pic later."

School starts today! Mr C is forever screaming. Students being picked out.. yet were smiling away.Tsk, what a bad start.

Happy 2009!
My resolution is to STICK to my past resolutions I made..like none is fulfilled haha.
One of the my resolutions is definitely to score really well for my "O" Levels and just few days ago, I told my friend I wish to go to Oxford University and guess what she replied?
"Can Meh?" but I don't think its wrong to dream big,right? hahaha!

Secondly, complete my swimming tests (awards awards LOL).I know it seems like as if I brag about swimming lessons and all, but it is about real tiredness. Being kick in the head by other young children is no joke lor,very pain ok.

Thirdly, I want to have my kayak test done and get 1st star and so forth as soon as possible.Excited excited!
But that has to wait until my Os is over.Bet that I will have any free time.

Next, volunteer work!My friends and I actually planned to do some volunteering work beforehand during the Dec holidays but we got too busy with our activites. In the end, we totally forgot about it :|

Lastly, travel around the world.Ever since I came back from Brisbane, I've been having this urge to travel to countries that I have never heard before eg: Wellington, Johannesburg, cape town.
Sounds fun right? hehe

School is starting tommorow.Not excited at all because Izzaty agrees with me that the new sec ones are just bunch of 'extra' kids ( kidding!). Safra meeting and receiving free money from MOE for the weekend! [:
