haha i don't know why when i typed " I wont be blogging often from today onwards" in one of my posts or something along the line and the next day, a lot of ideas come to my brain on what to blog.

I think I really shouldn't put that sentence cause in the end, ....

I want to talk about EEEEE-MMMM-OOOOO :DD

I did a lil research about this and I still don't understand the true definition.

Oh ya before somebody spams me about this topic (if) , I would like to apologise.What I'm gonna write are basically my opinions and everyone is entitled to their own views.

So don't get angry if I somewhat hit your nerves, ouch :P

1. what exactly is Emo?

Emo (short for "emotional") is a rock genre. However, it's often used to refer to a style of dress, a kind of (usually bad) poetry, etc.

Emo music started in the '80s. The vocals range from "normal singing ... to a kind of pleading howl to gut-wrenching screams to actual sobbing and crying." Typical lyrics "tend toward abstract poetry" and are usually difficult to decipher. During live shows, emo bands tend to turn their backs to the audience during the quiet parts. They're very emotional, you see.

In recent years, the definition of emo has broadened. Today, some mainstream musical acts like Fall Out Boy are considered to be (at least partly) emo. Many teens and young adults have taken to dressing in an emo fashion. This includes (but is not limited to) sporting tight T-shirts, crusty hair brushed to one side, horn-rimmed glasses, and eyeliner (or "guyliner" as the case may be). Basically, anything that suggests an air of vulnerability.

Hopefully, that answers your question. Or at least explains why your eyeliner is missing.

2. What's wrong with being Emo?

To be frank,I don't like or simply hate the idea of this emo trend. Nothing is wrong with being one but cutting own wrist, is just too extreme isn't it? People that cut themselves and are really depressed and have the idea of they are not being loved.

3. My views:

Firstly, emo = emotional and everybody in this world is emotional or else they are good as being called inhuman. So why called yourself emo at the first place? A true emo person is someone who wears think eyeliner,dyes their hair with weird colours,listens to punk+rock music.

If all of the above doesn't apply to you, then stop calling yourself as EMO!!

Don't pretend to be one just because you want to fit in the crowd/trend.

I'm refering to those who dont even wear black thick glasses or eyeliner or punkish bangs or even worse,don't even listen to softcore punk music.

and then self-proclaiming themselves as " People, I'm emo!" .

Like as if one needs to be proud of that.

Fyi, emo kids are somewhat similar to scene kids.

However,there are actually some true emo who are really depressed and look like one.The rest that are under this label are POSERS.
